She was born on December 1974. She attended Mimar Sinan Academy of Fine Arts, Stage and Costume Designing Department graduating in 1998.
She started writing and illustrating children’s books with her own series: “The Adventures of Deniz”. The series was about the adventures of a child detective, who learned many interesting facts while trying to solve the mysteries. The series were published by Altın Kitaplar Publishing House in 1999, which is one of the leading publishing houses in Turkey.
Besides being an illustrator, she also worked in various TV series and cinema films as an art director. She also worked as a visual merchandiser for well known clothing companies like Yargıcı and Abbate.
Ebru Öztaylan now lives in İstanbul and continues her career as an illustrator.
