Soner Hizarcı, was born in 1962, in Ankara, Turkey. Beginning from his childhood he perceived painting as a game to discover life. Painting in various styles, Hizarcı put his paintings in use in his high school years. He drew caricatures for weekly comic paper "ÇarŞaf" and illustrations for "Ogün Yayınları" (Ogun Publications) during his education years at Gazi Unıversıty, Department of Painting. After his graduation, his professional life continued with drawing caricatures for weekly comic paper "Girgir" and with illustrations for monhtly child magazine "Başak Çocuk", he has been carrying on painting and staging exhibitions in Switzerland.
